Mason put it down in the 3rd turn on the start having to come back from last place(23rd). He fought hard working up to 12th on the first lap and from there earning his 4th place position by the end. Obviously less than ideal, but he salvaged solid points putting him in the fight for a championship still.

In his words: “I am happy with my recovery after the start I had. It has been a tuff streak of being off the podium, but my pace was there during the race, just some bad luck. Looking forward to the next round.”
